Week 6

Week 6, day 1, Rubber Boot Journalist, working on Mt. Shasta west side this week. The west side has more limited agriculture, cattle and timber due to weather and water is a concern, too. Also wrapping up the back cover blurb of Falling to send off to the cover designer.

Week 6, day 2, Rubber Boot Journalist.  Still working on the west side of Mt. Shasta.  Here are some timber pictures.  The blurb is done for falling and to the cover designer!

Week 6, day 3, Rubber Boot Journalist. Finished up Mt. Shasta west and the Rubber Boot Journalist is on sabbatical for the rest of the week. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Week 6, day 4, of Rubber Boot Journalist on sabbatical. Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. Recently rode the bicycle to the top of pilot butte in Bend, Oregon, a cinder cone butte that rises 500 feet above Bend. Here’s a few views from the top and one from the distance.

Week 6, day 5, Rubber Boot Journalist is still on sabbatical.  Took a bit of a fall and twisted my ankle. Iced it and could barely walk on it but the next morning barely a twinge so doing much better and looking to take a hike or bike ride today.
